Meanwhile, a virus is spreading that primarily affects gay men and intravenous drug users, only this infection slowly turns people into stone. Blending fantasy and realism, Julia Ducournau’s (Titane, Raw) take on the AIDS epidemic is evocative, unpredictable, and polarizing.
