Established in 1963, the Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant garde and experimental film festival in North America. With 8 experimental short films from 6 countries, the second of the AAFF touring programs features a diverse selection of award-winning and noteworthy films from the 2024 festival. This selection includes winners for the Terri Schwartz Award for Parody and Satire, Kodak Cinematic Vision Award, The Gil Omenn Art and Science Award, the Barbara Aronofsky Latham Award for an Experimental Video Artist, and Leon Speakers Award for Best Sound Design.
