Long before they were nominated for an Oscar for South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut or won their Tonys for The Book of Mormon, Trey Parker and Matt Stone created this low-budget cult musical about a miner whose expedition took a dark turn. Never ones to shy away from a catchy tune and a questionable joke, Parker and Stone proved early on that they knew just the right balance to strike with their comedy.
