This quietly observed and gorgeously photographed documentary doesn’t fall into the common tropes of true-crime stories. After his teenage son goes missing, Daniel scours the depths of the Vistula River, torn between the dread of a fatal leap and the hope that his son may still be alive. “A moving story of how grief and love can harden into determination.” – Brian Tallerico, RogerEbert.com
