Activist and comedian Noam Shuster-Eliassi grew up in Neve Shalom/Wāħat as-Salām, a village where Israeli Jews and Palestinians live together. After years as peace activist and diplomat for the UN, Shuster-Eliassi pivoted to stand-up comedy and political satire. “Canadian filmmaker Amber Fares expands Shuster-Eliassi’s show beyond the four walls of the theatre, with footage captured in multiple locations over a five-year period.
