A film that doesn’t lend itself to a mere plot summary, Master of the Flying Guillotine is a legendry classic of Hong Kong action that returns in a brand- new 4K restoration by Severin Films. A one-armed boxer is hunted by a vengeful flying guillotine expert. Packed with epic fights, this is a ludicrous good time for anyone who enjoys their action insanity turned up to 11. “Snags the viewer’s attention by lacing its martial-arts high jinks with a compelling weirdness.” – Nick Rutigliano, Village Voice.
