Mentored by Chloé Zhao and Sean Baker, first-time filmmaker Hannah Peterson’s crafts a graceful and affecting story of life after tragedy. The film follows Genevieve as she prepares to graduate high school in the aftermath of the death of her boyfriend. As she navigates an uncertain future alongside a community that is also searching for ways to heal, they turn to each other to find hope and a way forward. The film won the Best Cinematography award at Tribeca on behalf of DP, Carolina Costa. Cleveland premiere.
