Michel Gerfaut (Alain Delon) is a classic noir archetype, the man caught in a web of confusion fighting for his life. After stopping to help a man in a car wreck, Gerfaut finds himself mixed up in industrial intrigue when it turns out the man had been shot. Now the killers are looking for Gerfaut thinking he’s a witness. As everyone around him starts to fall victim, he must turn the tables on his pursuers. “Three Men to Kill takes its leisurely time — not at all a bad thing — and features some thrilling set pieces, of a level that might have given Hitchcock, who died the year this film was released, a measure of appreciation or even jealousy” – Michael K. Nemo, Film Review Central.
