Filmmaker Colette Ghunim takes the audience on a personal journey as she travels with her Mexican mother and Palestinian father to their ancestral homes. Filmed over five years and featuring evocative animation and archival footage, Traces of Home is a meditation on memory and an unflinching look at what it takes to find our way back home to ourselves.  “It’s a stunning debut for filmmaker Colette Ghunim.” – Lapacazo Magrira Sandoval, New York Amsterdam News.
