The first film produced by the German-run Continental Films in France during WWII, Who Killed Santa Claus? is a holiday mystery set in a small French village. First, a valuable gem goes missing and then there is a murder in this peaceful town. The gorgeous B&W cinematography by Armand Thirard shines in this new 4K restoration. “One of the quintessential films of the Occupation.” – Stephen Harvey, Museum of Modern Art.
